I have dubbed this figure the "Mayflower Ball / Icosahedron" since it requires 1620 balls to construct.. The 10-9-8 teardrop tube is 27 balls. There are 5 tubes in the pentagonal star (5 x 27 = 135 balls). And finally twelve stars (12 x 135 = 1620).
