The 9th and Final Dungeon of The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Hyrule Castle. We begin with Midna breaking the barrier around Hyrule Castle with the Fused Shadow we took back from Zant. Then heading to the left side of the outer castle and fight out way to our Final Confrontation with King Bulblin for a small key. Then off to the other side, bashing through gates with a bullbo, open a gate with the Gale Boomerang to get the Dungeon Map. Dig in a nearby dig spot to enter the graveyard, complete the sequence of mini puzzles to reach another small key prompting Midna to tell us we have gathered everything outside and should head into the Castle.
In the Castle Foyer we do another arena fight and clawshot our way up to the Compass chest. From here we can head to the only open door in the Foyer, fight the Darknut beyond it and get up the stairs with our Gale Boomerang, the chest at the top has some rupees. Now we can head to the east of this floor, solve a lantern puzzle, then fight a duo of Dynalfos to open a way back to the Foyer and a way to the outside, in the Foyer we can activate a switch to set up a short cut to get back to this point. From here we get back to the top of the stairs in the room with the Darknut and head to the opposite side. Take out a couple helmeted lizalfos, hit a hidden switch behind a painting, and enter the next room to take on a Darknut duo. I suggest taking them down one at a time by bringing one over with a bomb arrow to take down first, then going for the other. This also opens a door back to Foyer, and gets us a couple more rupee chests.
Now we head outside on the second floor through either side we have opened. On the side we chose is an Aeralfos fight and a small key. On the other side is the Big Key and a cutscene of the Resistance helping Link. We grab the Big Key and head to the door in between the two chests we've just opened. We now scale the castle, up past some helpful ghost, past several sets of broken stairs, through a couple of lizalfos fights, and then fighting a final Darknut. Once the Darknut is down we can raid the Royal Treasury for ammo refills and even more rupees.
The final boss of The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is none other than Ganondorf. This is a 4 phase fight.
Phase 1 is Puppet Zelda, Ganondorf has taken control of Zelda and is using her to fight us, dodge her attacks until she creates a ball of lightning, hit it back and forth with her until she gets hit by it, repeat this process until Ganondorf is knocked out of the Princess.
Phase 2 is Beast Ganon, shoot him in the glowing gem on his forehead with the bow and then attack the glowing scar on his chest, do this until he starts teleporting away from the bow shots and become Wolf Link, now when he charges us grab him by holding A and throw him to one side or the other by holding that direction to throw him onto his back to attack the scar again, rinse and repeat until the phase is over.
Phase 3 we are warped outside of the castle into Hyrule Field, we must chase Ganondorf on Horseback as Zelda fires Arrows of Light at him to stun him so we can catch up and hit him. Do this until Ganondorf falls off his horse and the final phase begins.
Phase 4 is a 1v1 sword fight between Link and Ganondorf. Genuinely the two best strategies for this fight are Back Slice and/or to wait for Ganondorf to charge us so we get the "Chance" prompt to clash swords over power him and attack until he falls to the ground and we can finish him.
The fight is done, Ganondorf is defeated, and Midna is alive and restored to her true form. The credits roll (at 5x speed because they are so very very long) then a final scene of Midna saying goodbye to Link and Zelda before shattering the Mirror of Twilight preventing their worlds from clashing again but also making it impossible for them to see each other again.
Final Credits roll. The End.
