This is one of my two tracks from the Nintendo Summer Megamix. I'm releasing this a bit before the premiere of the megamix as I put it to a vote a few days ago and this seemed to come on top.
Thanks so much to everyone who voted! I know it wasn't that many but having the ability to interact with followers in that way and get their opinion is pretty awesome.
The Nintendo Summer Megamix comes out on August 6 and I'd highly recommend you check it out if you haven't and are into many of my remixes! I have two tracks in it. I think I'll release the second one next week but I hope you check it out in the megamix if you're too impatient!
As for this remix, I really wanted to try and create something that felt old and worn like the context of the original theme but execute it through a lofi style that I'm sure many of you will think screams "Catorstrax".
