The Zeiss 40mm F2 Batis is my favourite lens purchase of 2019. It's versatile for different types of photography and video purposes. I used it a lot for product shots and I brought it with me to so many places when I went overseas last year. Combine the focal length with the somewhat wide aperture, close focusing abilities and of course those appealing Zeiss colours make it a great addition to any photographer's kits.
