This will be my third release on vinyl record. The first was a chiptune cover of "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" by Neutral Milk entitled "In The RP2A Over The Sea" and my second was a chiptune cover of "The Soft Bulletin" by The Flaming Lips, aptly named "Soft Bits In".

It may not be the best sounding turntable but I thought it was appropriate for the source material! This is also a first cut of the album, after which many improvements were made. The final press will sound much better (especially when played on a proper turntable).

To accompany the animation, I arranged Danny Elfman's "This Is Halloween" piece from "A Nightmare Before Christmas" using the sound chip inside of a Nintendo, starting the track with the Zelda title theme.
This particular design was a stretch goal for the Kickstarter Campaign which ended in April 2019. I created it on my home printer to get an idea of how the finished design would look should the campaign hit that stretch goal. The final album also has better spacing between tracks. I requested a 2 second gap between tracks that don't play into one another but they didn't end up on there for some reason. The mod also swaps out the standard red LED power light for a color changing one which cycles through during use.

It generally accompanies the reveal of Princess Zelda or indicates some reference to the royal family of Hyrule.

They're printed in a white strong and flexible plastic that can be painted and assembled as you see fit - sort of like a model kit. You'll also need five acrylic rods cut to specific lengths (noted in the description) for the emitter section.
The electronics are a custom light and sound board hooked up to five LED's, done by RPF (Replica Prop Forum) member 13doctorwho, which he designed specifically to fit into my model.Original Pixel Series (Test Animation 1.2)DoctorOctoroc2015-08-06 | A second test using sprites I'm creating for an upcoming original pixel animation series about a boy and his dog. The story will follow their adventures to restore peace to their fallen world, with the help of some friends, of course!
Notable changes are:
- Dialogue boxes for the main character. These will likely be replaced with voice overs later on, I haven't yet decided whether I want to stay true to the video game style to that degree or add to the ease of 'watchability'. - Frame-by-frame animation of the dog running up and down the hill, where before they were repeating sprites moved along the art board. Four complete additions of the dog's running animations were created to account for the differences in how he runs both up and down hill, each with two sets for the angle at which he's running (shallow and steep). This change takes far longer to animate but the result is much better looking motion. - Clouds changed and hills added for more depth and a cleaner background (as opposed to the previous 'puffy' cloud sprite that was duplicated across the sky.
As of this new upload, the main story arc has been nailed down and all of the history of this world has been established. In addition, 8 pages of the script have been written.
