► This video contains the cutscenes AND gameplay of the playstation 2 video game, Zathura. THIS IS NOT THE MOVIE. IT IS THE VIDEO GAME. Oh boy, where do I even start with this game. For starters, I saw the movie when I was young, but I have no recollection whatsoever of the plot and other stuff that happened in it. For a PS2 game, the graphics are nice and while the gameplay is okay, its platforming segments are horrible. I DID NOT enjoy playing as the robot and I really didn't like that I had to play as the robot during the final boss fight. For a game that's based on a movie, it's solid. By that, I mean the cutscene quality was excellent for its time. Like I said before, the gameplay is okay, but it does get VERY repetitive. So for my game movie, I have the cutscenes (obviously) and I included small segments of the gameplay ranging from boss fights to "Hey, get to cover!" Anyways, I went through this torture of a game because I love you all and I hope you enjoy it :) My next game movie will be The Darkside Chronicles: Operation Javier on PS3. Which is long overdue to be uploaded. Zathura (Video Game) is a science-fiction, adventure, horror, survival video game developed by 2K Games and published by Sony Entertainment. It is based on the Zathura (film) and novel of the same name and it stars Josh Hutcherson, Jonah Bobo and Dax Shepherd, who are the only actors to reprise their roles from the film. In the game's plot, Danny and Walter visit several planets while battling aliens, robots and Zorgons while attempting to finish the Zathura (board game) in order to get back home to Earth.
