What an epic piece of music this is! I think it's quite a stroke of genius from Mr. Richard Strauss. It was the perfect piece of music to be used in the beginning of Kubrick's movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey. I had plans to do this piece on the guitar but I also saw an opportunity to make a pretty full version by myself along with my two keyboard setup. The performance here is a live take and uses the actual sounds from my two wonderful keyboards. I felt very powerful playing this haha! Hope you like it!
