Good morning and welcome back to another vanlife adventure in Spain 🚐🇪🇸
This time, we’re heading into Zaragoza just before Christmas to see what the city is like during the festive season. With Christmas markets in full swing, we weren’t sure what to expect — or whether we’d even get a parking space — but luckily, things worked out.
We park up at a free aire on the edge of the city, right next to the tram stop, take Doris out for a walk, and then hop on the tram into the city to explore the Christmas lights, markets, and festive atmosphere. Zaragoza is absolutely beautiful… but wow, it’s busy — think London Underground levels of busy 😅
The next day, we hit the road again, heading south towards the Valencia region with a stop at Costco (priorities: cheese, fuel, and supplies). With washing becoming a serious issue — we are dangerously low on pants — plans change, and we decide to stop at Geldo, a place we’ve stayed before. Despite the cold, we enjoy a stroll around town and discover even more street art than last time.
