We sat down with Zambian Ambassador to the U.S., Dr. Chibamba Kanyama, following our recent USGLC convening to discuss U.S.–Africa investment and the Lobito Corridor — a transformative rail project connecting Angola, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
With support from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), and other partners, the Corridor is strengthening trade routes, expanding access to critical minerals, and unlocking new opportunities for both U.S. and African economies.
