Spinny Manget Fractal Woman 2022-09-20 | This is just a VERY short video showing something very interesting. One of my viewers asked me if a small spherical magnet spins as it travels along the isopotential curve towards a big magnet. So I attached a little tail to the small magnet to show that it does in fact spin as it is travelling. Notice that the small magnet doesn't fly directly to the big magnet, but follows a curved path until it gets a certain distance to the big magnet. Then it flies to the big magnet. The main point though is that the small magnet does in fact spin as it moves towards the big magnet.

Complex Numbers : A Silent Review Fractal Woman 2022-04-28 | The invocation of the terms "real" and "imaginary" to describe complex numbers is a huge mistake in my opinion. Complex numbers are 2-dimensional numbers and nothing more. If complex numbers were taught properly, there would be no confusion. Complex numbers are 2-dimensional numbers that can only be properly and completely represented in 2x2 matrix form. Using this formulation of complex numbers, all talk of "the square root of negative 1" is also completely unnecessary. The 2x2 matrix form of complex numbers is functionally identical to the standard implementation of complex numbers, only less confusing and MORE COMPLETE. In the 2x2 matrix form of complex numbers, the "real" component occupies the forward diagonal of the matrix, and the "imaginary" component occupies the backward diagonal. All of the entries into the 2x2 matrix are real and ponderable floating point numbers. There is nothing imaginary about them. In other words, the letter "i" need NEVER appear in the matrix. If complex numbers were taught this way, we could teach them to our children. First, we would teach them how to add and multiply 1-dimensional numbers, then, we could teach them how to add and multiply 2-dimensional numbers. This is how I plan on teaching my grand kids complex numbers. FractalWoman

On the Bloch Wall and the Misconceptions Surrounding Peer Review Fractal Woman 2021-12-22 | This video is a quasi-review of a paper called "The Quantum Field of a Magnet" by Emmanouil Markoulakis. Although it might seem like I am picking on the author in this video (and I am a little), that is not why I am doing this. In reality, EM and I have the same goal in mind. We both want to understand how the ferrocell works. EM thinks I am misguided and I think he is misguided. But the only thing that really matters (and the only thing that anyone cares about) is the demonstrable truth and not some hypothetical truth that is impossible to prove. Computer simulations are a kind of proof. If you can't demonstrate your "theory" via computer simulations, then it is of no use to me. I am a computer scientist. I have been for a long time. I need logic, I need clarity, and I NEED CODE, in order to fully understand a concept. When I wanted to understand the torus knot, I wrote some code. When I wanted to understand Ionel Dinu's Aether circulation model, I wrote some code. AB's CODE clearly demonstrated TO ME how the ferrocell works. It is not an over simplification in my opinion, nor is it a "cartoon". It is the real deal. This is exactly what I was looking for (and what the other ferrocell researchers were unable to produce). In my mind, a computer simulation of the ferrocell is the BEST way to show how a ferrocell works and AB's simulation succeeds in every case that I try. So, in terms of understanding HOW a ferrocell works, I am satisfied with the results. But it doesn't end there for me. This is actually just the beginning. Now that I have all the tools I need to simulate the ferrocell, I also have all the tools I need to simulate my Aether model. This is why I really needed the the ferrocell simulation code (aside from making pretty pictures). In my Aether model, space is, for all intents and purposes, a "ferrofluid", aka. a colloidal solution of polarizable entities. Using AB's simulation software, I should be able to simulate this in 3D. Not projected 3D or holographic 3D but REAL 3D. So I am very excited about this. FerroBright : Emergent Poles (Silent Movie) Fractal Woman 2021-12-05 | First of all, just so you know, I have given the simulation software a name. It is called "FerroBright" (www.ferrobright.com).This is in the spirit of a toy I used to play with as a kid called LightBright. What we are doing here is actually not that much different. In LightBright, each hole in the "field of view" is assigned a colour depending on which LED you place in each hole. In FerroBright, each pixel in the "field of view" is assigned a colour based on whether the observer can see the reflected light, or not. In both LightBright and FerroBright, the set of coloured pixels creates a beautiful "light" display. Aside from the pretty colours (which I love) this picture contains a lot of information. For example, from looking at this picture alone, one should be able to guess where the poles are and distinguish the poles from "each other". No, I am not saying that you can tell North from South. What I am saying is, if you pick one pole as North, you should be able to label all the other poles, based in this picture. Give it a try.

Rotating Kerr Black Hole vs Rotating Magnet Under Ferrocell (Silent Movie) Fractal Woman 2021-11-26 | Many people have been asking me to make a video showing what a magnet looks like as it is rotating under a ferrocell. One of the main reasons I wanted a ferrocell simulator was so I could do exactly this. When I first saw a video animation of a rotating Kerr black hole (youtube.com/watch?v=KikdPbX7z8Q), I saw something that looked familiar to me. I speculated that a rotating magnet under a ferrocell would look a lot like what I saw in that video and saw evidence of this in my own ferrocell experiments. It is my opinion that black holes are in fact VERY LARGE "magnets". I can't get into the details because I am still working on it, but this would explain why the rotating magnet under a ferrocell looks so much like the rotating Kerr black hole in their simulation.

What the Ferrocell Shows Fractal Woman 2021-09-10 | In this video, I show some of the results from the ferrocell simulation project that I am working on with AB Science. Demystifying the ferrocell : PART 2 Fractal Woman 2021-05-30 | Continued from the previous video, here, I show how I convert the magnetic moments that I stored in a text file into a 3D model that can be loaded into Blender and MeshLab. Using MeshLab, some of the features of the ferrocell can be seen including the 3D holographic torus that is often associated with the ferrocell. Of course, this holographic effect is just an optical illusion caused by the REFLECTION of light off the nano-tubes that self-organize into a certain pattern in the presence of a magnet.
