Check out the above link if you're interested in the BimmerTech Alpha One audio system upgrade.
Some additional notes and corrections:
1. The base audio system CAN be upgraded to the Alpha One amplifier. It comes with all the brackets and harnesses needed.
2. There is a fourth audio system that came on some cars that was called the "Individual High-End" system. This was a really expensive option that was more common in Europe. The amp is 825 watt, meaning there is no need to upgrade it. Also, the tweeter and midrange speakers are top quality and also do not need to be upgraded, however you will see some improvements by installing the alpha one 7ohm subwoofers on these cars.

I wasn't very clear in the video on why I drain the coolant from above rather than down below. It's because you only have to drain a tiny amount this way and then top it up afterward. I also recently changed my coolant last year when I did my water pump so why replace it as it's still perfectly good.
Another thing I forgot to mention in this video was the bleed procedure. You want to do that after you top off the coolant:
Inside the car, put the key in the ignition, foot OFF the brake, hit the start button. This turns the ignition on. Set your HVAC fan speed to low, temperature to maximum, center button (in the middle of the vents) to hot. Push down on the gas pedal all the way and hold it for 10 seconds. The automatic bleed procedure should be going. You can look inside your coolant reservoir and you should see it spraying out. You can see this procedure in detail by clicking here:

For either cleaning method, these tools are must haves:
ABN Auto Wire Brush 38-Piece Set:
amzn.to/3rpkOEb
SWANLAKE Pick and Hook Set
amzn.to/3roxxan
(these are longer picks which is what you need to easily reach the bottom of the valves)
You also need an air compressor and this air blow gun or one like it to blow out the debris and the excess cleaner:
harborfreight.com/air-blow-gun-set-64149.html
For the chemical cleaning you should get this:
BG Platinum Fuel System Kit - Air Intake, Valve, Combustion Chamber Cleaner:
amzn.to/3V0JsZi
(Note: I do receive compensation if you buy through this link but you don't get charged extra. I'm not able to find a link to this cleaner anywhere else as it isn't sold at the consumer level but I did find one on ebay for cheaper so look there first)
For the walnut blasting you should get this:
Abrasive blaster:
$84.99 harborfreight.com/20-lb-pressurized-abrasive-blaster-68994.html
or
$39.99 harborfreight.com/portable-abrasive-blaster-kit-37025.html
Walnut media:

Media blasting wand:
$18.69 fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-n54-n55-vacuum-blaster-adapter-fcp-euro-b1100003
(This will fit right into the fittings that come with the 20lb abrasive blaster I linked above. For the cheaper one you will likely need to source the appropriate barb fitting at your local hardware store.)
Plastic N54 Walnut Blaster Intake Port Vacuum Adapter:
$19.99 amzn.to/3M1lrNE
or $87.99 metal Vacuum Blaster Adapter - Genuine BMW 81292208037:
fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-n54-vacuum-blaster-adapter-genuine-bmw-81292208037
Instead of piecing a kit together for $221.66, you can just buy all the components together for $286.14 here:
fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-n54-walnut-blasting-kit-81292208037kt
This kit also comes with new intake $38.29 and throttle body $22.99 gaskets which means that it's a pretty good value if you just want a one and done solution.
Do you also need an air compressor and a shop vacuum with a 1.25" hose adapter. Anything will do.

The original low pressure fuel sensor design placed it a little too close to the engine and the excessive engine vibrations caused it to fail. BMW released an updated pressure sensor design with an updated fuel line which relocated the sensor a bit farther away. Along with that, they changed it from an o-ring to a tapered compression fit. But, that fuel line is rather expensive and you can just get an adapter to put the new sensor on the old line. Will this eventually cause the new part to fail since it's still close to the engine? Perhaps, but I'm ok with that as it's super easy to change. You can replace the whole line if you'd like to, it's up to you!
New style sensor:

Be careful to keep your battery unplugged when doing this. If you are changing the trim like I am and you're using a screwdriver rather than a ratchet and you need to turn the wheel for whatever reason, do that before you disconnect the battery and remove the airbag, because if you plug the battery back in and turn the ignition on while the airbag is removed, that will store an error in the SRS module and you will need a BMW scan tool to clear that error afterward.

The codes you might get for EVAP leaks are:
P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak)
P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak)
Both can be diagnosed using this method.
If you're looking to get a good smoke machine, I can recommend this one (which I use in this video):
amzn.to/3phMQRS
However the price has gone up since I first reviewed it. AUTOOL makes a cheaper version, but it doesn't have flow or pressure gauges:
amzn.to/3mopF6u
There is an even cheaper tool that is made in the USA, however it doesn't look much different than the DIY version I made years ago:

This will prevent a shredded serpentine belt from ever being able to push in your front crank seal and cause a major disaster inside of your engine.
BE CAREFUL when installing this. I was not, as you will see in the video, and it took quite an effort to save myself.

The part number is URO-012392. You should be able to get this from most auto parts stores.
Of course the real solution is to replace the engine mounts but that's going to be difficult for some people who don't own an engine support bar or are uncomfortable doing the sort of job where you have to drop the subframe.
Other causes of belt shredding or throwing include:
1. Oil Filter Housing Gasket leaking oil onto the belt causing it to weaken
2. Worn out belt tensioner pulley
3. Missing power steering pump bracket bolts

The running joke is, it seems like every BMW leaks oil from the factory. Well, that's not far off. BMW never seems to be able to fix the oil pan gasket they use on their 6 cylinder engines. Eventually the rubber goes hard and stops sealing properly and the thing leaks, and because the engine is mounted at an angle, the oil level is always above where the gasket sealing area is, so it leaks really badly. This problem usually develops after a certain mileage or number of years. Every BMW owner knows this and almost none of them have it fixed because it's an expensive job. But you know what, it's really not that hard to do yourself and I show you how in this video.

The electric water pump on the E90 BMW will eventually just die and leave you stranded on the side of the road, so it's definitely something you need to replace as a part of the standard maintenance on an older E90, but, hey, at least the pulley doesn't explode and send plastic chucks throughout the cooling system like the previous generation.
