In the first of this two part video series you will find instructions to create a template that will be used in the second video to create a paper quilted card. Paper quilting is a type of papercraft that uses teabag folding tiles to create a beautiful and detailed design that mimics the look of a quilt. This project doesn't use any fabric, it is completely paper and cardstock.
I have designed hundreds of teabag folding tiles that would be PERFECT for creating the card that will be demonstrated in the next video. They are available on my website for purchase in PDF format (Digital Printables). http://www.origamitwist.com
There will be a link to the second video in this series here, once it is uploaded on Sundaythe 27th August 2017.

This super easy origami frog is lots of fun to make! The jumping frog model is folded from a rectangular sheet of paper, and as you'll see from the end of the video, you can play around with it's dimensions to make it jump farther and higher, just like modifying a paper airplane can change the way it flies.
This fold is one of the reasons I LOVE origami. It's relatively simple; if you can fold a cootie catcher, you can fold this box. It has a magical bit at the end that is so satisfying to complete. Best of all, it is functional. Happy folding!

In the second video of this two part series, I will show you how to use the template that we made in video 1 (link below) to create a gorgeous card that mimics the look of a quilt. Paper quilting in this case is a technique that uses paper, cardstock and glue and does not require fabric or sewing. It would make a lovely birthday card, Mother's Day card, or you could even make a Christmas card! It also uses very simple papercrafting techniques, making it a suitable card to teach to a group.
This video includes step by step instructions for how to fold an origami flower. This Traditional Origami Camellia is perfect for decorating flat craft projects including making paper garlands and wedding tables! It is a lovely spring or summer craft. I'm designing boxes and making videos again! In this video you will find a tutorial for how to create a really fun milk carton shaped box! I love how versatile this craft is. It is made from 1/2 of an A4 or 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock. You can make 2 complete boxes from 1 sheet of cardstock with very little wastage. It is perfect for birthday party favors or as a back to school treat box! They will fit either a packet of Tiny Teddies or a fruit snack! This is a great project to use as a make and take for Stampin' Up and CTMH demos too. Just apply stamp techniques and/or diecut your box before assembling and voila! Happy Crafting!
