Inspired by Green Palace of the Alchemist from JUMP½, except with lives being the goal instead of coins. The level's setup is a reference to the portrayal of Mephiles the Dark from the Sonic 06 Real Time Fandub. The first few sentences in the intro message and the switch palace message at the end are (almost) direct quotes.
This level is my only level that went through any significant revisions in development. There were several rooms that were cut due to the level being too long otherwise. It was mostly just the less interesting/short ones that got cut.
