It all began circa 2005 when I was introduced to a Jazz album filled with Sounds from Scandanavia. Highly impressed with what I was hearing, I researched the label behind it and began collecting each release in their catalogue up to that point and beyond.

The chilled deliveries of Gothenburg had invaded my space and taken over. Soon after hearing different projects I could identify those key elements in sound and rhythm that tied it all together, those which gave it its own unique sound, feel, and allure.

Current day, the label DNM is no longer active, however the many gems that it released along the way have given us, those who are familiar with them, many joys in song, quality, and artistry.
