RULES:
Yugioh Xyz monsters have a black background and are placed in the extra deck. Xyz Monster’s have a Rank below their name on the left side instead of monster levels. In the description box, below the monster type, is the requirement for how many monsters you have in play that you need to use in order to Summon this monster, called “Materials”. You must match the recipe exactly to use the Materials.
To Xyz summon, choose an Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck that you have the right Xyz Materials in play for. The Xyz Materials must be face-up on your field. During your Main Phase, declare that you are Xyz Summoning and stack the Xyz Materials on top of each other. Take the Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck and put it on top of the stacked Xyz Materials in the main Monster Zone or extra monster zone in face-up Attack or face-up Defense Position. There is no limit to the number of Xyzzy summons you can do in a single turn. The materials are not considered to be on the field, despite the material cards being underneath the Xyz Monster, nor are the material considered to have “left the field” so effects requiring the materials to leave the field will not trigger.
When an Xyz Monster tells you to “detach” a material, take one of the stacked Xyz Material cards beneath your Xyz Monster and put it in the Graveyard.
When your Xyz monster is destroyed, sent it to your graveyard. Xyz monsters that were properly summoned then sent to the graveyard can be special summoned from the graveyard without the need for a Xyz summon, for example like with Monster reborn. Summoning this way does not give the Xyz monster any material. If an Xyz monster card is sent to your graveyard without it first being properly summoned, then it cannot be special summoned from the graveyard.
If your Xyz monster is sent to your hand or deck, put it facedown in your extra deck instead.
