Can Stevonnie unlock their true potential and overcome trauma that occurred in episodes they didn't appear in?

So I didn't intend on making another Steven Universe ytp. By the time of my third one in 2022 my interest in the show had lapsed and I felt it had had a long enough grasp on me (which is rather evident by how last year's ytps had only like two jokes referencing it). However, early this year I felt I had a little bit of unfinished business with it.

Mindful Education has been an episode of the show that always intrigued me. Not solely by its song or message, but by the presentation, the colour usage, music, animation and voice direction. The last two minutes were one of those moments that emotionally got to me more than most in the show for a good while since I connected with it at the time on a personal level. Even with Future's approach to similar themes I think what this episode explored felt more layered and even intense. In my first review video I noted how some elements of it paralled sonic and the black knight (which I was also fixated on for a good while too) and that video was what kickstarted my interest in making review videos. Honestly I don't think I'd have this much interest in Steven Universe if it weren't for episodes like this. It might have been one of the biggest butterfly effects (no reference intended) for my online presence. I wanted some way to express my feelings on the episode for a while but I could never put into full words how much it did. So maybe all of this will be enough to express its impact for me. It's something I feel I should have done a long time ago, but I'm glad I waited until I had the skills and knowledge to do so. This goes out to my 19 year old self, someone who didn't give up despite the odds at the time.

Another note is that the first half of this was the last project I worked on in Corel X6 and my old computer. I rendered a 70% complete version to check for copyright in February and a few days later my computer began having trouble booting up. All the files have been backed up but the computer was a goner along with my access to Corel X6 (I have x5 but it's incompatible with all the project files). Despite the troubles it had the past two years I still have very fond memories of using it and despite its limitations Corel was a great editing software for me to have (I'd seriously recommend it for newcomers who want to get into more advanced editing).

The second act focusing on Together Alone was another little unfinished business but not as personal. A little rewriting of the timeline was in order... Also I really, really wanted to use Shadow the Hedgehog again. I feel like I leaned a bit too heavy into telling a story with this part, some of the jokes will fly over most people's heads if they aren't familiar with the original source but oh well. Okay ramble over, next video's about Smosh don't ask.
