This is my second filler video for 2026, in which I experimented with the most obscure (and the worst) video editing software sourced from the Praktica DVC driver installation CD. This CD features NewSoft and Presto!'s Mr. Photo Platinum Edition, and most notably, VideoWorks 6. I received this CD along with the DVC camcorder during Christmas 2024, and I proceeded to install the drivers and software on my Windows 11 PC. Unfortunately, both Presto! software are not supported by my current operating system, so I uninstalled them and decided to use my buggy-ass Windows XP VirtualBox machine along with the CD, where both software finally worked.
Now, it's 2026, and I decided to use VideoWorks 6 on Windows XP to try to make a Hotel Mario intro YTP, and my god, it was a sh*tty situation. I was experiencing distress while editing, as the software frequently became buggy, slow, and stuttery when I added effects and played the media. After that, I exported the video (still plagued by the software's bugs), transferred the file to my main PC, and edited the audio with random effects in Sony Vegas to maintain viewer interest. Plus, I don't know why I opted for the low-quality Quebec Gamers version of the Hotel Mario intro; however, I intended to evoke the nostalgic vibe of the old YouTube Poops that were prevalent in the late 2000s.
