Step into the dark… but this time through the sound of the SID chip.
This is my C64-style 8-bit reinterpretation of Thriller, rebuilt from the ground up using the iconic sound of the Commodore 64. From eerie melodies to punchy basslines, I tried to capture the haunting atmosphere of the original while giving it that unmistakable retro vibe.
Creating this was a challenge — translating such a rich and layered production into just 3 SID channels really pushes the limits. Every sound had to be carefully crafted to keep the groove alive while staying true to the hardware.
