On Wednesday evening, at around 7 pm, Shamli police received information that YouTuber and Haryanvi singer Ankit Baliyan, a resident of Bantikheda village, had been shot by four unidentified assailants while leaving a gym. An officer said 18 rounds were fired at Baliyan; three or four hit him. Baliyan was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. After his killing, members of the Jitender Gogi gang claimed responsibility for the brazen killing.
