In this video I'll show you how to prevent your ISP from throttling YouTube traffic.
To delve in a bit deeper on the technical side of things, you are blocking IP ranges from Google and XO Communications. The ladder ISP is the cause for many latency and routing issues for many online services.
Add rules:
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="YoutubeHTTP1" protocol=TCP localport=80 action=block dir=IN remoteip=173.194.55.0/24
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="YoutubeHTTP2" protocol=TCP localport=80 action=block dir=IN remoteip=206.111.0.0/16
Remove rules:
netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name=YoutubeHTTP1
netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name=YoutubeHTTP2
