YouTube has just removed the dislike button from Shorts, and people are really mad about it. The dislike button is now completely gone on YouTube Shorts on both mobile and PC. YouTube responded to the backlash, but their response makes no sense at all. So what is going on with the YouTube dislike button removal?

YouTube has fully removed the dislike button from YouTube Shorts on both mobile and PC, and the reaction online is not great. A lot of people are upset that they can no longer dislike a Short, and YouTube responded and explained why they made this decision. Their response however is really bad, because they told users to just use the "Not Interested" button instead of the dislike button on Shorts... except the "Not Interested" option is not even available on YouTube Shorts on PC, so their own solution doesn't even work. This makes YouTube's response look really bad and like the site is broken. So why did YouTube remove the dislike button from Shorts?
