It's been a long time since making videos was fun, and it's pretty much solely down to how YouTube treats its creators and punishes them. Making videos is fun. Worrying about the fact that YouTube might randomly decide to destroy the video I put days or weeks of work into, and then not tell me why is not fun. Why put effort into videos when it's safer to just spam out low-effort content that I don't care about?

Oh, and I got a response to my email by the way. They're "looking into it". Great. Only took them a week to respond in the first place (after I badgered my Partner Manager constantly to get a response from them).
