The process of building my very first website got me thinking about themes. Specifically, the dominant brand colors for modern apps, social networks and different technology related websites.
Ever wondered why YouTube is red, Facebook blue, Snapchat yellow, or why the Google logo is colorful?
Color psychology is defined as the effects of the electromagnetic radiation of light on human mood and behavior - a universal, psychophysical reaction, which is not as heavily influenced by culture, age and gender as is generally thought.
Choosing the right colors is a crucial task in branding. Research shows that the proper use of color increases brand recognition by 80%. So choose wisely!
