This is what I've spent so far to get my YouTube channel going and what I've made to date through Adsense. This is definitely a more realistic starting point for most content creators. I've seen far too many videos where someone gets monetized and is making thousands of dollars every month right out of the gate and that's more like winning the lottery than the realities of this work.
