The Youth Connect Center aims to provide quality and meaningful opportunities for youth that will give them a sense of pride and accomplishment while honoring their families and caregivers.
History: Since opening in October 2022 the YCC has provided 1,823 services to 380 unduplicated youth. They have found safe housing for 59 unsheltered youth, served over 1600 meals, provided 514 grocery bags, and provided clothing 532 times. They also are engaged in case management with over 40 families at this time and working with the city to provide full time shelter to youth with nowhere to lay their heads at night.
Vision: The YCC are committed to assuring that all children have the opportunity to grow up successful, healthy, and happy, despite childhood histories of abuse or neglect.
