LANSING, Ill. — The Lansing Municipal Airport will be the site of the village’s first annual Lansing Youth Aviation Career Day on April 30.
Also on April 21, the Village Board approved a number of ordinances, including:
-- An ordinance supporting a partial Class 8 real estate tax assessment classification application for The Great Escape as it looks to purchase and improve property at 16801 Exchange Ave. so it can serve as the retailer’s primary distribution hub while also housing corporate offices.
-- An ordinance that requires food trucks and other transient merchants to be properly licensed in order to operate in the village.
