In celebration of 11,000; read it again, Eleven THOUSAND lovely subscribers, I decided to do something I promised I never would: make a remix of my own work! A double VIP remix, as it were. We’re approaching the end of this particular chapter of the Tavi and Scratch series, with one more single to come out to wrap up our story as it is now. That’s still in the works, but in the meantime, chew on this wackiness for a bit.
Both Rhyme Flow and Nowacking have been doing their part to get “On Hold” performed live at all the big conventions (most of which are too far away for me to attend :-( ) so it was an absolute pleasure to get in touch with Nowacking and have her lend her Vinyl Scratchiness to this remix. And then there’s Leafrunner, a wicked guitarist and an excellent composer in his own right. Definitely check out his channel with the link above!
Title card art was actually a reappropriation of an older work by Zedrin which was originally inspired by another one of my songs. The circle is complete.

So Unity comes out in a week, but rather than make you guys wait, Im going to be trying to drop some of the tracks all week leading up to the 15th. Hope you enjoy what you hear!
This track is one of my personal favorites on the EP and represents both the quirky and passionate sides of nascent but emerging romance. Ive found much to relate to and appreciate between these two characters.
The music comes along in waves of intensity. The opening theme, with its bouncy, nervousness represents our lovable nerd, Alphys. The quirk is cast away by pure muscle and sparkly visuals as Undyne flexes in her combative splendor. Things settle down as a tender moment is shared between characters who, despite their differences and WILD eccentricities, indeed find pleasure in propinquity. So turn out the lights and quit starin!
