A woman is heading to prison after she pleaded guilty on Monday to a murder charge in the fatal shooting of her ex-boyfriend in Hialeah back in 2020.

Karina Corbalan pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the March 2, 2020 shooting of Alexis Sanchez.

In exchange, she was sentenced to 25 years in state prison followed by 10 years of probation. She'll get credit for time served.
