The bond between a father and his adoptive daughter… agh, I was listening to the “Youre Perfect” soundtrack from Arcane and visioned Gore and Mimi. This scene works so perfectly for them, and the way I proper cried while drawing Gore holding Mimi in his arms… I can feel Mimi’s presence, like I’m actually hugging her. It feels really comforting and nice. I love my baby girl so much❤️
78 hours of drawing, + a couple of hours I didn’t count for editing… it is finally done.
I struggled so hard with the tears, I am no animator and only have animation meme knowledge 😭
I also made it hard for myself, I cant even describe my animation progress because it’s so shit.
But either way, despite the struggle I am very pleased with this. Seeing the characters move just filled me with such strong emotions, same when i made the head canon voices video. Seeing your character move or hear a voice that sounds like them makes them become more alive.
