Shmurple Purple | Your Work and Nothing More [Mini OC PMV] @ShmurplesArePurple | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 12 hours ago
This is just a small, sketchy PMV I did with some roleplay characters. It only took me about 2 days to do overall. This song is from my new favorite musical - Jekyll and Hyde. It is so good and so is the classical novella. Even if you know the story, I would highly recommend reading it, or listening to the musical (though it does have a different plot).
Backstory for this:
This roleplay takes place on Svalbard for context. Orcatide (the tom with the hurt eye) is an old medicine cat who has just found out the deputy Quailfeather (the tabby tom), who Orcatide looks to as a son, is training with the tyrannical Icestar in Starclan. Icestar shows up in the final frame. In this roleplay, the Dark forest does not exist and Icestar has thrown many of the other Starclan cats out of their hunting grounds. Orcatide wonders if Quailfeather is so ambitious to become leader that he would forgo his mate and continue to let Icestar abuse him. But what will Quailfeather choose?

I finished this part in only two sitting. In one sitting I did the storyboard and in the next, I finished it lol. This MAP was supposed to be fairly emo and also a way for artists to push themselves. I hate editing and I am not great at tweeting, so I used this part to practice those areas. Overall, Im pretty happy with how it came out! What do you all think?
The character in this is my OC Gorseflight. Hes a medicine cat who ripped out his own claws in an attempt to look less threatening. However, he also sees cats as either good or bad with no in-between and it is his personal mission to rid the world of the evil cats.
