For each year of your life, you have a card from the Major Arcana called the Tarot Year Card, which represents the tests and lessons you’ll experience in any given year. Your Tarot Year Card indicates the kind of archetypal energies that are constellated in that year, suggesting personal qualities you can work with.
In Archetypal Tarot (Weiser, 2021), scholar and teacher Mary K. Greer connects astrology and numerology to the tarot to create an in-depth personality profile that can be used for self-realization and personal harmony. Archetypal Tarot, previously published as Who Are You in the Tarot? (Weiser, 2011) is a valuable tool for anyone wishing to learn how to use the tarot to interpret their strengths, challenges, and innermost desires.

In Part 1 of our tour of Papus, I lectured at you and you may or may not have listened to me summarizing the Tarot of the Bohemians in all its arcane glory.

In Part 2 we’ll walk through a divination approach found in Tarot of the Bohemians (1889). You’ll be separating out the Minors into the four suits, choosing a suit based on the subject matter of the inquiry, casting cards from the suit only, then casting cards from the Majors, all working within a 7-card spread that calls upon the Holy Trinity and the quarternary ROTA.
There is an optional expansion of the basic method where you augment the 7 cards with a 12-card astrological house reading.
