Parts of my story you may not know and why I believe the best way to get ahead is to get started.
I sold hair clips that I made by hand to help pay for hair school tuition.
I dropped out of high school and started my hair career at 16.
My first salon was a “failure” but helped me build my books and reputation in my town and later I opened a salon again.
I started blogging for years without making any money and tried doing a million different side hustles while doing hair & teaching at a beauty school.
I was a beauty school teaching for 4 years.
My first speaking gig was at a beauty school.
My first course no one bought.
My first workshop I had to convince most people to come.
Everyone starts somewhere. Most people are just afraid to keep following their heart and keep going.
