Growing a small YouTube channel is hard and in some ways it's only getting more challenging. The biggest reason for that (in my opinion) is because on YouTube you can do whatever you want, as long as you don't break ToS. There are infinite amounts of videos about an infinite amount of topics, but being creative when you have absolutely no limitations is super difficult.
