So yeah, I thought, why speak about a few of my thoughts surrounding the idea that many musicians have brought to me lately. The idea that no one is going to hear your music, so why even do it at all, why even put forth the effort? My thoughts mainly are around what is the creative process actually, to me, to someone who can't help but create... I think the reward is in the doing, not the receiving, as the doing is a form of gift. While I'm in a bit of a different position, creatively I'm like anyone else, I'm on the journey to self discovery through getting my own ideas out. While I love companies like Waldorf, Elektron, the list goes on an on, when I sit down to do something serious, of I'm in a studio session with other musicians I always come back to the Access Virus Ti2... why you ask, because it gets the job done, it's so no nonsense. It's such a tool, you get the idea of "what a cool piece of gear" out of you mind and just play.
