Many guitarists get stuck in the intermediate guitar plateau. There of course are many factors for this but one I have been seeing over and over again throughout the years has to do with your fingers. What about your fingers? Well simply knowing which ones you should use at a given time. The problem which causes you to play sloppy and never build speed is because aren't fully confident with your fingers. You play lick after lick and sometimes you use one fingering the next you use completely different fingers. This is an endless cycle that must be solved in order for you to break out of the intermediate guitar stage.
