Two partners allow viewers inside their telephonic conversation that layers with film and thermal imagery, reflecting the worries and calm of living away from home during a disaster. The film is structured like the life cycle of a typhoon - both an environmental and emotional system that gathers, breaks and dissipates.
At ALT EFF 2026, we are meeting the times.
When the world feels like it is coming apart, we look to art as witness, joy as resistance, and cinema as a way home to each other.
This film is one of many stories we are bringing together this year at the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival, December 3 to 13, 2026.
