In this video, I discuss your characters' lies and their false beliefs. I provide examples of how one might use the characters'lie or false belief to enhance the story or plot or conflict or help with the character arc. These are but a few examples of how one might insert the false belief to add more depth to both character and plot. Examples provided are few, but I believe they give ya the gist of how one may use them and may also find a place for them to be used to enhance or resolve conflict within the story. If nothing else, giving your character a false belief will help in character development and aide in a "reason" for why they believe the lie. Can also work to build off of backstory.
If none of that works, I hope you were at least a little entertained by the video and learned something new, or I was able to bring clarity to the false belief and how to use it in a story.
