When your car's vents are puffing out sauna air instead of that cool breeze you deserve, it’s time to call in your local Rockstar Automotive Technician. Here’s just a few things to expect when they roll up their sleeves and put your ride’s A/C system to the test:
1)Visual Inspection – They’ll pop the hood and eyeball the usual suspects: loose belts, cracked hoses, maybe even a rogue squirrel nest (it happens).
2) Refrigerant Check – Low on refrigerant? Your tech will know. They’ll hook up gauges and measure pressure levels like a DJ spinning tunes.
3)Leak Hunt – With UV dye, or CO2 and a keen eye, they’ll track down leaks like a detective in a greasy trench coat.
4)Compressor Test – This is the heart of the A/C. If it’s not kicking on, you’re not chilling.
5) Cabin Air Filter Peek – A dirty filter can turn your airflow from “ahh” to “ugh.” Easy fix!
6) Blower Motor + Electrical test – If your vents are weak or moody, the tech will trace the current like a rockstar riffs a solo.
