Everyone with a pile of cheap 12V LiFePO4 batteries asks the same thing: Can I use them to expand my EcoFlow with the third-party hack cable? On their own, no. You have to match the power station's 51.2V nominal voltage and LiFePO4 chemistry. But wire four 12V batteries in series and you're at 51.2V nominal, and the hack cable works exactly as intended. I also cover where to fuse before your charge controller, whether there's an upper limit to how many expansion batteries you can stack, a roughly $6,400 no-backfeed solar build under a $10,000 budget, and which panel wiring survives a dead panel.
