Donkey Kong Bananza really threw a wrench in the *ahem*... stability(?) of the Mario Universe…….. Okay fine, there were questions long before DK Bananza. But this introduction of young Pauline really did shake things up and force people who believe in a singular Mario timeline to re-evaluate what the existence of a 13 year old Pauline next to Cranky Kong meant. Is the Pauline from Mario Odyssey the same one as the arcade? Is DK Bananza Pauline the same as Odyssey Pauline?? Does Nintendo even have a game plan??? Let’s talk about it.
