When Medusa (Dragonair) begs for a reunion with her late husband and son, and an end to her murderous rampage, Perseus (Fraxure) reluctantly grants her wish. And as a result, kills the only Pokemon who had ever shown him love.

Longer story:
After losing her husband (Alistar the Altaria) and son (Comet the Dratini), Andressa (Dragonair) lost herself amidst her grief and rage at the soldiers responsible, abandoning her name and taking up the alias Medusa instead. She partook in the war, though never wore the colours of her continent flag. She fought soldiers, but not for patriotism or for her continent as others fought for. She fought for revenge, in anger. She killed in rage.

But amidst another brutal slaughter, after she had taken out the soldiers of the Mist continent, Medusa found a child soldier from her lands, a Fraxure named Perseus. His parents had forced him and his dwindling number of siblings into the war, in efforts to make them strong, to evolve. There was no love in his household, and the violence there was not too different from the frontlines he was made to charge upon.

Medusa, reminded of her own late son, spared the Fraxure and even took him in. He followed her gladly, the duo soon being known as Team Outrage. But as Perseus spent more time with her, he witnessed her murders of the other Pokemon instead of just fainting them. He grew fearful of the monster who... began to only show her soft side to him. Who nurtured and cared for him, grieving her son through him. A parental tenderness he had never known from anyone before.

But Comet would return, reincarnated as a ghostly Rotom. Lost and dragged into the war without knowing better. He ended up on the wrong side of the battlefield and Medusa slay him as she did any enemy soldier. Only the mother and son recognized each other, for a split second, before Cometa would succumb to his wounds.

Medusa, forced to relive her grief, turns to Perseus for one final request: to slay her. She despises what she has become, she has grown tired of this anger and grief. But she cannot find it in her to let go, at a loss of how she can move on. Besides, she is a murderer of hundreds... there is no future for her after the war. But perhaps with her gone, Perseus will be set free.

Despite the conflict churning in his heart, Perseus reluctantly grants her her peace, and taking the life of the only Pokemon who had ever shown him love. She is able to leave with her humanity, able to cling to the last of herself. But she leaves Perseus in her blood, a murderer.
