Sanjay Kapoor recalls how his brother Anil Kapoor, during his own struggling days, approached a director at Rajshri Films for an opportunity. The makers liked Anil but were looking for someone younger.
Anil, who simply wanted to see at least one hero emerge from their family, turned to his younger brother Sanjay who was busy playing cricket at the time, and suggested him for the role.
But the director's response was hilarious: “Itna young nahi chahiye!” 😂
Behind the funny moment was a dream shared by the brothers to see someone from their Chembur home eventually make it in front of the camera.
