*The study mentioned in this video also noted that TV news stories are not significantly less likely to report Blacks than Whites as perpetrators. But notably, stories are less likely to depict Blacks than Whites as victims, providing a clear contrast between media's portrayal of Blacks as perpetrators versus victims. Indeed, Blacks, Hispanics, and Others are all less likely than Whites to be portrayed as victims. So there's that.
