A wheel inside a disc. It seems that the wheel is rotating inside the disc, but it is a very convincing optical illusion, the small wheel is fastened firmly to the disc!
A spinning top that is also a hopping top...
No smoking? No puffing! A novelty sign!
A magic trick. Hook the plunger over the end of the elastic band - well that seems to be what you have to do. It is impossible though. So how does the mechanism work, since the plunger seems to snap back into the main part of the toy, just as if it is on the end of an elastic band...
Press the thumb plunger to make the cake revolve at speed. Suddenly the cake opens up. Help - there is a bear in my cake!
A wind up with no key? It is one of those toys you have to pull backwards on the table to wind it up. Release it and off it goes.
Finally, clowns on strings. Pull on the two strings alternately, and the clowns climb the strings. Release the tension on the strings, and the clowns whizz down again.
