With a cappella vocals now in my possession I've been working on an authentic cover version of Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round in the same vein as my recreation + explanation of Madonna's Into The Groove.
The drums are insanity, being a layer of both the Fairlight CMI and Linn Electronics LinnDrum, with seven variations on the Fairlight and nine variations on the Linn.
Compress the kick and snare, push everything through a Non Linear reverb, overdrive to tape as glue, voilá!
