I gave chase through the city and eventually caught up with the person who had stolen my cap. But that was only the beginning of what turned into the most chaotic day I've experienced during my campaign.
When I returned to Piccadilly Gardens, the atmosphere changed dramatically. What followed were heated exchanges, confrontations, aggressive behaviour, drunken members of the public, and eventually police involvement.
