Here is a problem on multi step calculations which is a crucial part of solving problems in A Level Physics. This is of course applicable to all exam boards including AQA A level Physics, OCR A and B, Edexcel, CIE and similar courses such as AP Physics, IB Physics etc.

A similar problem has appeared in AQA however even trickier as it used Young's modulus.

The problem uses the principle of moments and springs and materials. I hope it is useful to practice multi step calculations.
