🧢 Pattern:

Foundation:
Ch a multiple of 7 + 6.

Row 1
Dc in 4th ch from hook (turning ch counts as dc).
*Sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch (shell). Sk 2 ch, dc in each of next 2 chs.
Repeat from * across until 2 chs remain.
Sk 1 ch, dc in last ch.
Turn.

Row 2 (Repeat Row)
Ch 3 (counts as dc).
*Shell (5 dc) in space between the 2 dc from the previous row.
Then work 2 dc centered over each shell β€” either:
β€’ into the sts above (dc in 2nd dc of shell, dc in 3rd dc of shell), or
β€’ into the spaces on either side of the center dc β€” your preference!
Repeat from * across.
Dc in top of turning ch.
Turn.

Repeat Row 2 until your project reaches desired length.

Row Repeat Recap:
Ch 3, shell (5 dc) in the space between the 2 dc, 2 dc centered over the shell, dc in top of last stitch.

Finishing Touches:
Fasten off using whichever method you prefer (knot or knotless).
Weave in ends.
