What goes into a teaching statement? How do you write one? Getting a faculty position requires three key documents: A Research Statement, A Teaching Statement, and a Cover Letter. I've already told you how to make a Research Statement, and today I'm going to talk to you about Teaching Statements, and in particular I'm going to tell you some really important points that have changed how you should go about it in 2022. I'm also going to show you an example of the Teaching Statement that got me a position at an R1 university.
