Just a short thing based on the last dnd session I had!
Ransom was cursed by his cannibal dad Ametzen , which makes him feel feral and rabid for humanoid meat.
Ametzen kidnapped Leyland (Ransoms good dad) to try to keep him close to him , and the party went after him alongside Abettor (ransoms half devil brother from Ametzen) who used to be on their dads side from basically Stockholm syndrome but now is just hella traumatized .
While Ransoms curse was acting up, he put meat in front of him, which he scarfed down , only for it to be one of the party’s early friends, a reporter from their first mission together.
They fought for awhile , it was extremely extremely gory, but eventually Ametzen held Abettor at scythe point, saying that they all needed to stop fighting , let the two of them leave, or he’ll kill Abettor. Ransom ended up trading himself for Abettor, since Ametzen wanted to have his original family reunited, so the party is not happy being separated LOL
